Agriculture is one of the learning area components that is taught by specialist teachers. We have a vegetable garden and rabbits for small livestock production practical lessons. Plans are underway to start broiler production unit. This will expose learners to practical aspects of the subject. Our learners also carry their crop and animal projects at home that are related to syllabus topics covered. Some have started their own rabbit projects at home. To expose learners to farming activities at commercial level, we take our learners on farm tour. This has benefited our learners in grasping the concepts taught in class.

At The Grange Christian School, the Information Technology (IT) program is designed to equip students with essential digital skills that are vital in today’s technology-driven world. This subject introduces learners to a wide range of IT concepts, including basic computer literacy, typing proficiency, and navigating software applications. Students are guided in using tools for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and research, fostering creativity and problem-solving abilities.
Through interactive and hands-on activities, the IT program ensures that learners not only become competent in technology use but also develop critical thinking and collaboration skills. With IT as an extra subject, students at The Grange Christian School are empowered to excel academically and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Visual and Performing Arts at the Grange Christian School is taught by professional teachers who are trained in visual arts, theater and music. We have well equipped music classrooms with wide range of musical instruments. and we are in the process of acquiring music production software so that we can produce our own music at the school.
- Working in the arts helps learners to develop creative problem solving skills. Teaching through the arts can present difficult concepts visually, making them more easy to understand.
- Art instruction hepls children with the development of motor skills, lanuage skills, social skills, decision making, risk taking and inventiveness.
- Visual arts teach learners about color, layout, pespective, and balance: all techniques that are necessary in presentations (visual, digital) of academic work.
- Integrating art with other disciplines reaches students who might not otherwise be engaged in class work.
- Arts experiences boost critical thinking, teaching students to take the time to be more careful and thorough in how they observe the world.
- The arts provide challenges for learners at all levels. More important, art education connects students with their own culture as well as with the wider world.

In today’s world, speaking one foreign language is not enough. Students who speak several languages will increase their chances of interacting, whether at home or abroad. Learning French enriches the mind and opens up new horizons, both personal and professional. French is a major language of international communication. It is the second most widely learned language after English and the sixth most widely spoken language in the world.
At the Grange Christian School, all children from Grade 1 to Grade 7 learn French. They are taught writing skills, listening and speaking skills.

The key disciplines are described in detail in their respective tables. Over and above we offer volleyball, netball, hockey, gymnastics and table tennis.
Our main objectives are to make all children water confident and to provide an avenue for those children who are talented in swimming to excel in the spot. We offer class swimming lessons and afternoon swimming lessons.
Cricket is offered to both class and afternoon. This provides a solid basis for building the skills involved in batting, bowling and fielding.
Class tennis lessons occur during the school day in which an entire grade participates. Players that are ready for squad tennis will be identified during these lessons and will be invited to attend squad training sessions.
Athletics trials are held in first term and these culminate in our Inter-house athletics. Once we have run this, we select our best athletes to participate in our EPSA Inter-schools Festivals
