Agreement to provide education services between The Grange Christian School and the learner. We’re here to guide you every step of the way!
- The personal details of the child and parent are on the next tab.
- The parent hereby assure that they will be financially liable to the school for the full payment of all levies and school fees before the first day of the term, failure of which they hereby authorise the school to withdraw their child(s) from class or to withhold exam reports until the payment is done.
- The parent authorises the school in the event of default to pay fees for the school to hire legal practitioners and agrees to be levied 10% collection fee, all legal costs on an attorney client scale and any other liabilities that may arise from therein.
- The parent further undertakes to pay one term’s notice or one term’s fees in lieu of Notice of Withdrawal of the child from school or withdrawal of allocated place at the school.
- If offered a place the school will require the parent to furnish the proof of financial capacity to meet payment of school fees.
- This agreement/form must be accompanied by a certified copy of the child’s birthcertificate and a copy of the most recent school or pre-school report.
- The completion of this form does not guarantee a place at the school, both successful and unsuccessful applications will be notified.
- The parent indemnifies the school against any of claims, liability that may arise due to the implementation of this agreement.
- A non-refundable deposit shall be payable acceptance of the child.
- The parent in the event of the child being offered a place at Grange Christian School, do hereby consent to the child’s participation in the visits /tours organised by the school.
- The parent understand that their child might take part entirely at his or her own risk and that neither the school Head nor any member of the school staff will be responsible for such accident, illness, injury or death which might occur during or as a result of the visits/tours.
- Furthermore, the parent authorise the School Head and staff members to act “loco parentis” and empower them to authorise any surgical operation or other essential medical treatment which for any reason may be necessary during the school visits/tours and acknowledge that the School Development Committee is indemnified from any legal suit which may result from the dispute or accidents involving their child.
- All fees for each term will be paid by the parent on or before the first day of each term and the bank deposit slips must be handed to the school secretary immediately after payment of the fees.
- In the event that a parent defaults paying the fees the parent hereby authorises the school to hand them to Financial Clearance Bureau for blacklisting.
- The parent agrees to a 15% or any other percentage on gross fees to be paid as affiliation fee to ZAOGA HQ and the schools Admin Council.
- The parent agrees that the Pentecostal school owned and administered by ZAOGA FIF shall impart the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Pentecost to their child as basis values in the society.
- The parent agrees that among other subjects like the history of the church shall also be communicated to their child.
- The parent agrees that lack of discipline on their part will lead to the parent/guardian being barred from meetings.
- The parent agrees that where need be, punishment may be administered on their child where necessary to shape the child’s behaviour.
- The parent agrees that it is a serious offence to be involved in any riots, anti-academic associations and they may be barred from the school meetings or lead to the expulsion of their child from the school.
- The school is run by the BOARD OF TRUSTEES whom they authorise from time to time make decisions and pass resolutions they deem fit for educational progress.
- The recruitment of all staff and administration of the school lies entirely in the hands of the Board of Trustees.
- It is agreed that the school is no smoking zone and likewise, drugs and alcohol shall and should not be brought into the school. Failure to comply with the same on the part of the child or his or her parent or guardian, shall lead to automatic expulsion of the child.
- It is agreed that no forearms or weapons of any form may be brought into the school premises by either the child or parent/guardian.
- It is further agreed that preference will be given to ZAOGA members when recruiting all the staff members using the minimum entry requirements and qualifications.
- The parent agrees that where the school and administration deem necessary, any child may be ordered to repeat provided that his or her academic performance after considerations does not warrants progression to the next grade.
- The parent agrees that all uniforms save for the school shoes shall be purchased from the responsible authorities.
- Every parent/guardian shall notify the school of any changes in relation to his/her and child’s residence or else the address on file shall be treated as domicilium citandi.
- It is the responsibility of every parent/guardian’s to ensure that his or her child is transported to and from school.
- The school shall terminate and or take remedial actions should any information any information supplied by a parent/guardian be proved to false and prejudiced the school.
- Every parent shall attend all meetings, failure of which communication will be made to the school and the absent parent shall accept whatever decisions or resolutions reached at the meeting.
- By appending their signature the parent agrees to the terms and conditions of the school and it means that they confirm that the information that they have provided is correct and true and that they have read and understood this agreement.
- The parent further agrees to be bound by the resolutions of the board of trustees of the school or any other meeting that the school may call.
- In addition the parent agrees to be bound by any circular, minute or communication the school or the relevant may issue in relationship to the education their child.
- Any indulgence or extension of time by the school shall not be treated as compromise or waiver of the school’s rights accrued as a result of this agreement.
- This agreement remains binding unless amended in writing by consent of both parties.
